From the Principal's desk
It is with great pleasure that we announce our first Model United Nations Conference KRMUN Vikaspuri 2014 at K. R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, New Delhi.
We at K. R. Mangalam World School are taking this initiative with a belief that MUN is a gateway to the development of higher order thinking skills amongst the youth of today. The level of debate, research, administrative planning and the investiture of responsible power in our young MUN leaders shall hold them in good stead. It is an earnest step in the right direction, deeply inspired by our motto: together towards tomorrow, for the wholesome growth of the Indian student body. KRMUN Vikaspuri 2014 promises to be a platform for innovation.
To begin with, this year we will be simulating four Committees. We will feature smaller committees to ensure a more intimate committee experience with far more opportunities for participation and the support of a dedicated executive staff.
The KRMUN Vikaspuri 2014 Conference will be held from the 31st October – 1st November 2014, at K. R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, New Delhi. Students from Classes IX - XII are invited to participate.

Greetings,
In an era where problems of varying severity plague every nation of the world, we are met by crisis after crisis at every step. From economic breakdowns to military invasions and political coups d’état, there’s nothing this world hasn’t seen. In such tumultuous times, if there is one factor that unites the citizens of the world, it is the vision for bringing about change.
With a firm belief in the power of Generation Y in overcoming conflicts, and bringing about a positive change in the way we live today, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural session of KRMUN, Vikaspuri. With committees that will prove to be engaging as well as amusing, while forcing you to broaden your horizons and deliberate issues of global importance, I hope this experience will be enriching and enlightening for everyone involved.
We shall be simulating four committees, ranging from the conventional Security Council to the eccentric Human Rights Council, discussing a variety of agenda.
